Monticello, IL, Fall Wedding

These clients were a ball to work with! They really wanted a “traditional” American wedding ceremony and reception. It was a lot of fun to explain why certain wedding traditions are done and how an American wedding ceremony and reception typically are.

They chose the stunning Allerton Sunken Garden for their ceremony and inside the mansion for their reception. Allerton Park and Retreat Center is located in Monticello, IL, just a short drive from Champaign, IL.

Another of my favorite parts about this wedding? The bright teal tablecloths. This bride didn’t want any normal tablecloth color. She planned the floral and other decor all around the bright teal color. It was gorgeous!

I am a HUGE fan of live music of any kind. The ceremony included a cellist and pianist and the reception was the entire band including vocals. So fun!
